* Ben folds를 처음 듣게 된건, 우연히 Philosophy를 듣게 되었을때다. 2002년쯤인가.

도입부를 가득채우는 건반소리. 비디오로 접한 적도, 심지어 그에 대한 정보도 하나 없는 채로, 건반을 치며 파닥파닥거리는 Ben folds가 그려지더라는. 이 노래를 들을때면 아무것도 필요 없었다. 가슴이 벅차서 그저 노래 속을 허우적거릴 수밖에 없는 그런 경험.
